Wild Life Of A Little Monster

Others are scared of me because of all the fun I have. Considered a vigilante by my Eponine.

Don't Know About This

Received a call today from BET telling me about a lawyer friend who has a client that is moving and must find a new home for their cat. At first I freaked at the notion. However, I left it at "I won't say no and I won't say yes."

The cat is a bengal. Scary, huh? I read they have glitter hair, like to climb and take showers. The total opposite of my Ep. But maybe this creature is just what I need. Maybe I'm what this creature needs. My little monster always thought she was a tiger or mountain lion. I guess a "leopard" would not be all bad. I wonder if his name is Oscar. Hmmm. We'll see.

Wonderful news Cowboy, I think Eppy is looking down on you sending that kitty to you. It happened to mine moms friend whose kitty of 17 yrs went to the bridge. Soon after a lady told the vet that she had to get rid of her calico. Long story short....they are soooo happy! Look forward to hearing........

Bengals are super smart and really awesome cats (there's a link to a bengal's blog on mine...) Tons of fun. If it's not too soon, go for it. If my People had gone with a "eh, maybe" feeling, I'd have gone to the pound :(

Bengals are neato kitties. Mom's old boyfriend wanted her to get a bengal when she lived in Mew York. I can't imagine wanting to play in water, though. Maybe you should meet this bengal kitty and see if yall are feelin good about each other? Mom said the best cure for her missing her Chloe (who lived to be 18) was for Sanjee to move in. I guess me and Mini were bonuses cause we moved in later. :)

Cowboy honey - only you know....

But if it's a choice between a loving home with you and a pound, then I think we all know where Oscar belongs.

Patches Lady might be right - Oscar isn't so much a replacement as a guardian angel, sent by Ep to comfort her weary Cowboy.

I am the friend of Patches Lady's mom and we were put in the same position - I swore we wouldn't/couldn't have another cat, but if Daisy wasn't rehomed she was to go to a Shelter (you can read her little story at http://thecalicogirls.com/daisy.htm). Nobody but you can make such a big decision as this - but all our thoughts are with you, whichever way you decide.

Cowboy, Ep sure is being a good guardian angel! Sometimes our fur babies come to us in strange ways. I swear all of my little angles came to me through the guardian angles of my past kitties. My little monsters are all for you meeting the bengal and seeing what happens. Good luck.

Tyler and me will send good thoughts as you make this decision. As others have said, only you know what is best for you right now. Eppy's spirit will help you in figuring this out. I will say after we lost Puggy, my mom swore never to get another dog. Two months later she was calling me, asking for names of pug breeders. Her little Zoey is nuts, drives mom crazy, but she has been a comfort and mom wouldn't trade her for anything.

It's a tough decision that only you can make. I just will say that when my Boo went to the Bridge -- a few weeks before her 2nd birthday -- I couldn't imagine having another furbaby in the house, but then I found Athena and she helped make things good again.

I agree with the above. This is just too timely to be a mere coincidence. You don't mention how old kitty is...
You did the best thing to just think it over for a bit. But he needs a home, and you have one........

Perhaps if you decide to take him in, maybe you should name him Gavroche in honor of Eponine.

I like that idea, especially if he's got some bite!

Go get him! Then we tiger kitties can put together our own club and make all those tuxedo gangers jealous!

Bengals are very strong willed cats. Read up on them before you make any decision. Hope your New Year will be happy and healthy.
