Wild Life Of A Little Monster

Others are scared of me because of all the fun I have. Considered a vigilante by my Eponine.

To Infinity And Beyond

Isn't it strange to believe that a guy can be sitting at Chili's at the Chicago O'Hare Airport and be posting to his blog. Correction, his cat's blog. And if his little monster were still here, she'd be posting all these crazy stories about things she was doing while the dude was away. It's crazy. We're connected.

Sometimes, I'm scared I'm going to be called out as a fraud. Someone in the cat blogosphere who doesn't have a cat. But, maybe not. I promise to again someday re-join this community. I will be legitimate.

You have been a source for me. A source for inspiration, laughter, tears, someone to cry with, encouragement, opportunities to remember, support and much more. Thank you. We all have our day-to-day lives, but escaping, having an alter ego, watching our cats shoot the bull with each other, and just being connected is really something special.

I've read several people mention how through these blogs, our pets somehow belong to all of us. You're right.

A fraud? No, I don't think so. You just have a cat in spirit right now. Some day you'll have an earthly cat again. We'll all wait for you.

Yeah. Until you get a new kitty the spirit of Eponine is coming through. The love will always come through.

A cat person is always a catperson even if he doesn't have a cat. It's in the blood. You still belong.

Oh you're not a fraud Cowboy. We're all part of each others lives, and we're always here for you. Like SS&S said, you're a cat person even if you don't have one at the moment. You're just between cats right now.

Dude, you were owned by Eppy. You can't be a fraud. Not unless we all say so, and since no one is sayin' so...

Cowboy, honey - no one deserves to be in this little fluffie community than you :-)

Every pet owner has a bit of their pet in their character - cat owners veer towards the feline, dog owners edge towards canine etc.

I've had cats all my life, but this is the first time I have been actively involved in a community made up almost solely by cat owners.

And I agree - it is fun to step out of one's own persona and assume the mantle of one's pet, be it cat, rat, dog or bun and to take part in this wonderful experience that is PET BLOGGING!

btw - you are still a viable part of this group - 'cos you'll always be Eponine's Cowboy :-)

Even when you're someone else's Cowboy, you'll still be Eppy's Cowboy at heart.

Like SS&S said - you are a catperson. Of course you are not a fraud, silly! And it was a lucky stumble across your blog - just after you'd lost Eppy - that got me reading many others. I'm enjoying it immensely, and I have you to thank.

Clearly, you are just in between kitties at the moment, as the Meezers said. Believe me, you will see a flurry of comments not to be believed when the day comes that you post that first photo of a new furry friend... And that will show you how much you are considered part of this group.

I've been reading (o.k. lurking) your blog for a couple of months now. Cried tears when Eppy went to the bridge and check back here often to see how you're doing. You, sir, are no fraud. If you were to leave the community, as you can well tell by the comments, you would be sorely missed.

While you're out getting Oreo some stinky goodness, can you pick some up fur us? We love reading your blog, so we hope you stick around, even if you don't get another furbaby

Agree with kattonic, if you left the community you would be sorely missed. You have friends here that care about you. You will find another furbaby to love and be owned by; but, it will only happen when you are ready. Not before.
