I've avoided coming to visit because I did not want to be the one making the number turn to four zeroes. Took a chance and it was at 10,023!
Thanks to all who visited. According to comments, Daisy and Derby are it. They are the culprits causing the ten thousandth ticker. Somehow it was a tie. And Daisy is new. Or at least a first time commenter, if I recall correctly. Daisy, do you have a blog? Who do you keep captive?

Hi, Cowboy. I hope you can come to Magoo's purrthday party. Bonnie's turned into a pony again (a little hoarse, not a pony) and wif all the niptinis she's had, I don't fink she should ref the tub hockey much longer.
If you use sitemeter for your counter it can be set up to ignore your own visits. That is what my staff has informed me of.
My mom has our counter ignore our visits, too. She says it's because I would get a big head if I thought all of the hits to my blog made from our computer were all cyber-fans.
I always have to remind her that I am my own biggest fan!

PS: We had a moment of silence for all the friends we lost this year, but from all the Niptinis everyone had, it really looked like everyone was just nodding off.
Sorry you weren't the 10,000th on the ticker, Pandora and Charlie. Time differences can make things a little challenging. I get confused just going from Eastern Time to Central Time!
Oh, and thanks for telling me about Magoo's party. I didn't even realize it was happening. The pictures over there look wonderful. I am so sad I didn't look earlier.
